In case you are wondering, the UC Irvine fraternity that produced that black face video recently has voluntarily suspended itself from campus activities for 16 months as they take time off to reflect on their error.

As stated in the LA Times article, the university may take additional disciplinary action itself.
My only comment here is that the fraternity has apologized and accepted responsibility for its error. Contrast that with the UCI Muslim Student Union, which wears the "Irvine 11" disruption of an ambassador's speech as a badge of honor. When have they ever apologized for the Jew-hating rhetoric of some of their invited speakers over the years, like Abdul Alim Musa, Amir Abdel Malik Ali, or Mohamed al Asi? Never. Did they ever apologize for posting a racist caricature of Ariel Sharon on their mock "apartheid wall" a few years ago? No.
Some people apologize for offensive behavior and learn their lesson. Others don't.
