Controversy Over Obama's Nominee to Head ATF

One of the more hysterical reactions to the Boston bombing was from NY Times writer Nicholas Kristof that the Republicans refusal to quickly confirm President Obama's ATF nominee was a cause of the attack.

Actually, there are plenty of reasons not to rush this nomination through, especially in the wake of Fast and Furious.

I don't think B Todd Jones would have prevented the Boston bombing had he been in place as ATF director, Mr Kristof.
