Border Patrol, Agents Getting Furlough Notices

2010 Fousesquawk Jerk the Year Janet Napolitano

"Way to go, Janet."

True to form, furlough notices are going out to thousands of people who are charged with protecting our borders. The reason. The sequester, which has actually decreased the increase in government spending this year. Nevertheless, DHS head Janet the Jerk Napolitano is spearheading the administration's drive to maximize the pain instead of intelligently prioritizing the budget.

As the saying goes, "They'll show us."

"Good news, mein Fuehrer. General Wenck's* 12th army has been furloughed. We are saving much money."

* General Walter Wenck was in command of forces (12th Army) that Hitler expected to rescue Berlin from Soviet attack. They were unable to make it and wound up surrendering to the Americans.

  1. So let me get this straight. Obama and his minions, such as Holder, Schumer, Weinstein, Cuomo, Emanuel and the far left Demos in particular want to remove protective weapons from U.S. citizens, especially from border towns and remove the security from from the border to let bad guys come through thee border towns.
Tell me if I am missing something!

  2. One wonder what we could afford, like White house tours, if we just delay buying new uniforms for the TSA agents or cutting out presidential golf trips on Air Force One at $186,000 an hour or diversity training for government agencies or studies on overweight lesbians (as opposed to thin gay men) and a great number of other duplications and stupid expenditures that Senator Coburn has uncovered.
This amateur in the president's chair simply is overwhelmed and can't prioritize. His ideologies are primary.

  3. The sequester legislation doesn't allow for intelligent prioritization. It provides for across the board cuts. It was designed to be so horrible nobody would fail to agree on something more intelligent before it went into effect.

That design failed to anticipate that the dregs of what was once the Republican Party are quite capable of finding it a perfectly good thing to do.

Ah, I see Miggie has recovered from the last election to the point that he now is resuming his rant about how this election can't come soon enough, except next election, Obama can't be a candidate, which I guess makes Miggie something of a lame duck.
