Muslim Capitol Day in Texas

Hat tip Creeping Sharia

On January 31, Muslim organizations came to Austin, Texas  to participate in Muslim capitol day, an event that takes place in many states. Creeping Sharia has posted two videos, the first a speech by Eric Muhammad of the Nation of Islam. (Please hold all comments until I am finished.) The second is the invocation by Imam Islam Mossaad, an Austin native, who now serves at a mosque in Little Rock.

In addition, it seems that there some controversy over which legislators wanted to sign a proclamation honoring the state's Muslims.

I know nothing about Imam Mossaad, and I find nothing objectionable in his remarks. I do find his words ironic, however, given the presence of a Nation of Islam representative who implies that Texas should become Muslim. But that is mild for the Nation of Islam. Can we say they represent conflicting messages?
