"He asked others at the event, organized by the Global Aspirations of Women student group, whether God would agree to gay men being stoned to death. He was told he would."
Just a few days ago, I reported on an incident where hateful statements were made about gays during a Friday Islamic sermon at Cornell University.

Now we have a similar incident at Manchester University in England. More specifically, justification was made for executing gays. They were captured by a video apparently used secretly by the man engaged in the discussion. Gay Star News has the report

This is why these meetings must be documented by video and audio. Here in the US, the various Muslim Student Associations (and Students for Justice in Palestine) often try to tell people in the audience that they cannot film. I don't know what the laws are in the UK, but in the US, at a public university holding a public event in public space, the right to record is clear. (When I videotape, I do it openly. ) In this case, it appears the other (Muslim) students did not know they were being recorded.
Those of us who oppose Islamism-and please know the distinction between an Islamist and a Muslim- and oppose sharia law in the West must make it clear that under sharia law, homosexual acts are punishable by death-just as is apostasy, blasphemy, and adultery. Don't take my word for it. Go to the sources and ask the Islamic scholars. (Caution: If you ask those in the US, they will obfuscate.) I suggest asking Yusuf al Qaradawy, who is regarded as one of the top scholars in the Islamic world. He will give you the straight skinny.
"That's right."
Conservatives were never so sympathetic to gays before Muslims started ostentatiously bashing them.
