Meanwhile, outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said this in a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations this week:

"Today the world remains a dangerous and complicated place. And of course, we still face many difficult challenges. But a lot has changed in the last four years. Under President Obama's leadership, we've ended the war in Iraq, begun a transition in Afghanistan and brought Osama bin Laden to justice. We have also revitalized American diplomacy and strengthened our alliances. And while our economic recovery is not yet complete, we are heading in the right direction."

"Tune in tomorrow when we again play....".

"Aw shut up!!"

  1. Gary seems to enjoy seeing Iraqi soldiers fighting against al Qaeda getting blown up... or something...

...Then again, we have the spectacle of the Shia allies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who helped us ferret out the last agents of our common enemy, Hussein al-Takriti, trying to eliminate the Sunnia Iraqis who formed the alliance with the U.S. military to stop al Qaeda in Mesopotamia dead in its tracks...

Can't tell if Gary thinks we should still be in Iraq fighting valiantly for this or that faction among our allies to come out top dog... or not...
