Soeren Kern, writing in the Gatestone Institute, reports that one European country (The Netherlands) may be waking up from its failed policy of multi-culturalism.

Before all you liberal multi-culturalists jump all over me, let me point out (if the article weren't clear enough) that some forms of multi-culturalism are great. Where it has all gone wrong is this notion that immigrants should not be expected to assimilate. That is especially disturbing if certain immigrants bring a hostility to the host culture. More so when the natives feel threatened in their own country by those who give immigration a bad name.
It may not be enough to change policies toward what is expected of immigrants. If the Netherlands truly has 50,000 radical Islamists in their midst, maybe its time to bring back the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike-stop such immigration and get rid of the bad apples.
