Was Allen West the Victim of Voter Fraud in Florida?
Hat tip Town Hall
Another piece of bad news in the election was that Allen West was apparently defeated for his seat in Congress by Patrick Murphy. West is important to the conservative movement and enjoys huge Tea Party support. He was leading late, but lost when a rush of "re-counted early votes" votes came in from St Lucie County. Now a re-count is underway as it is reported that over 100% of certain precincts' voters voted.

Computer glitches, re-counts etc. It all reminds me of that recent election in Minnesota where Al Franken became a senator after missing ballots turned up in the trunk of a car.
Who needs voter ID laws?
Scene: a dimly lit, smokey back room of the Democratic National Headquarters
ReplyDeleteDem #1: Well gentlemen, now that we've hidden the President Obama's real birth certificate and successfully convinced the country that Obama was not born in Kenya, what is our next order of business?
Dem #2: There is this new Republican Congressman from Florida, Allen West.
Dem #3: Yes, he's a real threat to our power!
Dem #2: Exactly! We need to rig an election and get rid of this guy, because he poses a really huge, serious threat to our agenda.
Dem #1: So is it settled then?
All: Aye!
Dem #1: Send out word to begin the voter fraud!
END SCENE
Is that how you think it went down, in your over-active imagination, Gary?
Very possible anonymous, West was one of their top targets. You should show more concern. If these things are true, they are destroying our democracy. Is victory so important to Democrats that they are willing to steal elections? Why bother to have elections?
ReplyDeletePS:
ReplyDeleteI am not one of those who think Obama was born in Kenya.

ReplyDeleteThe next order of business (it is not too late) with Obama should be:
A. Find out if he really was a Muslim as a school child in Indonesia, as indicated by records there, or if that was just a dodge for free tuition, or whatever.
B. Determine in which country he claimed citizenship when applying for financial aid as a foreign student in the U.S., again according to records. Or was it just mere financial fraud, probably a felony.
C. Ascertain on which country's passport he traveled to Pakistan, I believe in 1981, when U.S. passports, at least to my understanding, were not valid or reccognized at that time for such travel.
That might be a pretty good start.
Further, while they were at it, although I agree with Gary that Obama was not born in Kenya, I wish someone would clarify for me, with some authority, whether his mother had the proper time period of residency residency in Hawaii for him to be considered a U.S. citizen, since he was born so soon after Hawaii achieved statehood.
Elwood,
ReplyDeleteI think point B is worth looking into.
Just keep doubling down on the crazy, boys, it's sure to pay dividends in future elections!
ReplyDeleteRequiring voters to show ID will not prevent bags of ballots being stuffed into the trunk of a car.
ReplyDeleteNor is there any evidence outside of your feverish imagination that Franken was elected by the dodge you describe.
You've never even been clear whether late-discovered ballots found in the car swung the election, or whether Republican ballots found in the car would have put his opponent over the top?
So many details to cover when you're making it all up.
I do know that a county clerk in an overwhelmingly Republican county has twice in the last two years "found" bags full of ballots that were never counted, in one case swinging a Supreme Court race.
Republicans talk about this stuff because they have so much experience doing it.
Allen West lost because he was a clown more interested staging a mini morality play than in representing his district.
elwood, you seem to have skipped 8th grade U.S. history and 9th grade civics.
ReplyDeleteIf a native born American citizen, daughter of native born American citizens, gives birth in a U.S. territory, her son is a native born U.S. citizen. Citizenship is not annulled based on how long the native born U.S. citizen parent has established residency in any particular state or territory.
Even the offspring of native born U.S. citizens born in a foreign country is still a native born U.S. citizen, in most circumstances.
E.g, Oliver J. Golden and his wife emigrated to the Soviet Union, gave birth to a daughter there, and later applied for Soviet citizenship. The U.S. embassy immediately noted that the daughter remained entitled to claim U.S. citizenship. This was in the 1930s. In the 1980s she was qualified to, and did, leave the Soviet Union for the United States.

I stand corrected. I thought it was a Chrysler.
