In case you are wondering how California did in Tuesday's election.......
You don't wanna know. But here it is anyway.
Dianne Feinstein, of course, was re-elected as senator.
"I want to thank all my wonderful supporters.."
Californians voted to raise their own taxes again as they passed Proposition 30, which raises taxes on those earning more than $250,000 and increases sales taxes for all. "Run Down" Jerry Brown's campaign showing him reading books to all those school kids convinced enough voters to give Sacramento more money to squander on whatever they want. Look for more tax-payers and business owners to flee the state.
The voters also voted down Prop 32 which would have restricted unions from using members dues to help political campaigns.
The voters of LA approved a measure that forces porn actors to wear condoms.
"Me too?"
"Great Park" Larry Agran, in a shocker, was defeated for mayor of Irvine. I guess that means he is no longer "the man to see" in Irvine. Unfortunately, his ally, Beth Krom, was re-elected to the city council. One can only wonder what will become of the Great Park now.
In other news, I hear the Puerto Ricans finally voted for statehood. At least we will still have 50 states.
You've been reading stories about Catherine the Great, right Gary? Unfortunately, there are no videos, not even still photos.

More of the same will make everything worse.
"This election can't come soon enough..."
