James Clapper's Lock of the Week (Week 8)

Hi. It's me again, National Intelligence Director James Clapper with this week's "Lock of the Week".

Last week, I picked several winners. For example, I picked the Steelers over the Falcons. The only problem was the Steelers were playing the Bengals. In fact, none of the other teams  I picked were playing each other. That's because intelligence is an art not a science. You have to factor in human error, developing intelligence, and the fog of war. Hell, it was the best intelligence I had at the time.

Anyway, my intelligence sources are now giving me an update, and I am offering it to you as  my..............

Lock of the Week.

This game features the New England Patriots and the St Louis Rams-playing in London.

(That's in England for all you UC Santa Cruz Community Studies and History of Consciousness majors.)

I am taking St Louis in this one to win by 30 points. Here's why.

First of all, the Rams arrive in London early in the week and have time to adjust to the jet lag. The Pats arrive later in the week. That's because Tom Brady's wife won't let him go so early (according to my sources). In addition, the Rams have a huge contingent of fans in London, so they will, in effect,  have the home field advantage.

So here is my prediction:

Rams 37
Patriots 7

(It'll be a slaughter.)

By the way; I am also predicting a great half-time show.
