The Latest Carneyism: A Spontaneous Terror Attack

White House spokeshole Jay Carney has finally conceded that the attack in Benghazi was a terrorist attack-"self evident" even.

What is yet to be conceded by the administration is that the attack was pre-planned.

If it was done by elements  of al Qaeda, I think we know by now that their attacks are pre-planned. Of course, if it was pre-planned, that leads to the next question: When did we get an indication that our mission might be in danger? According to some sources, our intelligence services knew as early as September 9 that action was planned against the Cairo embassy.

Maybe Eric Holder can refer this to his IG for a "thorough" investigation.

  1. I think that Jay Carney has admitted that the attack was a terrorist attack was "self-evident." This means the official line that all this was because of the video is now been revised.

The reason they held on to the video reason so long was political. They would have to admit that the foreign policy has been an abject failure. All the apologies and resets of relationships have not made us loved in the world. In fact, we are viewed as weak and ineffectual now. We suck up to our outright enemies and undercut our best allies.

Ah well, maybe the "wonderful" economy is Obama's real strength.
What do you expect from a guy who never even managed a lemonade stand?

  2. Naw, I don't believe we can expect a "thorough" investigation of his bosses by any IG, to include the one at DOJ. I watched part of the House hearings on the IG report, and while Mr. Horowitz (I believe was his name) came across fairly well, he certainly stopped short of the top.

For anyone who thinks the IG will blast Holder or the Deputy AG, I have several one-owner/low-mileage cars, some oceanfront property in AZ, and several books of wolf tickets I sure would like to sell. I might even sell Siarlys a piece of a bridge in NYC for old time's sake, if he hasn't already bought one.
