President Obama's chief hack, David Axelrod, followed up on the president's "private sector is doing just fine" gaffe by doubling down on it, saying that we need to hire more teachers, firefighters, cops and organ-grinders.

Apparently, Axelrod, like his boss, doesn't know the difference between public jobs and private jobs.

I'm not sure about the statistics, but is there a shortage of firefighters, teachers and police out there, or does that matter?
