UCLA Professor Reprimanded

Hat tip to Doc's Talk and Kudos to the AMCHA Initiative

Not long ago, I posted an article about UCLA professor David Delgado Shorter, who was accused of using his UCLA class website to further an anti-Israel boycott.

Well, finally, someone read the mail, and Shorter has been reprimanded.

Of course, Shorter is free to express his beliefs, but when he uses UCLA resources to do so, it implies that the university is putting its imprimatur on those beliefs.

"....(Shorter)  understands his serious error in judgment."

Or does he?

  1. Looks like the "leadership" in the Jewish organizations were AWOL again on this episode. Aren't they the ones who are supposed to be complaining about this? I suppose they are too tolerant to see anything wrong, or too lazy, or too conflicted between their liberal views and actually expressing any support for Israel.

  2. And yet he will continue to do so in the classroom. And making his classroom a hostile environment for Jewish students.
