Terror Attack at Jewish School in France

fusillade toulouse RIP Fusillade de Toulouse Les noms des victimes
(DRZZ)

The wave of renewed anti-Semitism in Europe has now led to this; a gunman on a scooter opened fire on schoolchildren in Toulouse, France today killing a rabbi and three children.

Though the shooter is as yet not identified, a former Israel intelligence chief believes Iran or Hizbollah is involved.

According to Le Figaro, although the shooter escaped, surveillance cameras captured the license plate on his scooter.

Gallia Watch has been following the story for several hours and also has its own speculation.

MRC-TV has posted a French TV news report (with English sub-titles):

DREUZ has published the names and ages of the victims. The children were three, six and eight, and a 17-year-old is in critical condition.

I will not jump to conclusions as to the identity of the killer. Suffice to say at this point, that this is precisely what we have been warning about for years now. It is, indeed, a return to Europe of the 1930s as Jews are being blamed for Israel trying to defend herself against murderous attacks and efforts to wipe her off the map, as well as all the world's ills, including the multiple pathologies in the Middle East.

Will the world wake up now? Did the world wake up after the Munich massacre of 1972? Did the world wake up after Mumbai? Sadly, no.

Miriam Monsonego (8) murder victim.
(Israel, Sweden and the Jews)

What will it take?

  1. You sure are jumping to conclusions. There's a good chance that you are wrong, and you're going to look like a complete fool trying to spin this.

  2. Anonymous,

Excuse me. What conclusions am I jumping to? Have I jumped to any conclusions about who the killer is? No. That is exactly what I stated. The one conclusion I have jumped to is that this is an act of anti-Semitic hate. We know the reasons for anti-Semitism in France and Europe.

    What is your conclusion?

  3. Maybe you're not technically concluding anything, but you're sure as hell doing a whole lot of insinuating. Don't play coy with me.

I will not point out that you jumped to a conclusion immediately after saying that you wouldn't, but you jumped to a conclusion immediately after saying that you wouldn't.

  5. Anonymous, Chultuyu,

Granted, it may be a neo-Nazi skinhead with a tattoo of a swastika on his face who thinks Jews use the blood of gentile children to make Matzo. Maybe it was because of Israel. Maybe it was an Occupy Toulouser. The conclusion I am jumping to is that it was anti-Semitic. Do you have any doubts on that?

I am still waiting for your ideas of who did it and why.

My crystal ball is broken, so alas I must wait for further information. I have a strange habit of not feeling the need to immediately come to a conclusion.

  7. C'tulhu,

Uhh, I think this is what I said....

"I will not jump to conclusions as to the identity of the killer."

So when the shooter is arrested or identified, I will say more. I repeat that the motive, in my view, is Jew hatred. What do you think the motive was?

  8. "It is, indeed, a return to Europe of the 1930s"

What ignorant ahistorical nonsense. You obviously haven't taken your copy of Rise and Fall of the Third Reich off your shelf for a very long time.

Hitler didn't bother with sending secret agents to terrorize Jewish school children. He had a methodical plan to round them all up and gas them --once his armies achieved occupation.

So, is Iran about to occupy France? Is any nation in Europe about to vote in a party committed to literally killing all Jews? No, we have a specific act of violence against several individuals and one institution. That is an evil of a very different character. Don't distract from what DID happen with unsupported ravings that are not close to reality.

Note: I think it would be more accurate to say that Gary jumped to a conclusion just BEFORE stating that he wouldn't.

  9. Siarlys,

The persecution of the Jews began with words of hate by Hitler. From there it grew. In 1938 Reichskristallnacht, a few dozen Jews were killed throughout Germany by Storm Troopers et al. The difference is that France is not committing or condoning these acts. Nobody in France or any other European country was killing Jews in the 1930s. It is when the seeds were planted, grew, sprouted or whatever term you care to use.

Again I repeat; we don't have an arrest yet, and it may yet turn out to be a Neo_nazi; but anti-semitism is clearly the motive. What is unclear is if the killer also hates Muslims, blacks, and other immigrants as well.

'I will not jump to conclusions as to the identity of the killer.'"

Uhh...and you immediately followed with a detailed analysis of that person's motivation.

Or are you proud of yourself for not trying to guess the person's actual name, address, and favorite cereal?

  11. Chu, chu or whatever you call yourself

Identity of the killer and motivation are two different things. Motive? hates Jews. That is the conclusion I am jumping to.

Anti-Semitism was nothing new to Europe, but let's say the Holocaust began with the words uttered by Hitler and his minions. What? Do you want to split hairs?

Are you saying it is highly probable that the killer is a loner with a twisted political agenda? Perhaps like Major Hassan at Ft. Hood?

  14. NBC is apparently reporting that the suspected killer was linked to Al Qaeda.

I didn't know they had "loners"in the organization. The common thread that connects them all begins with "Is" and ends with "lam".

  15. The shooter in the Terror attack is a Jihadist, Muslim. He went to Afhganistan and Pakistan from France and suspected of al Qaeda connections. Was there any doubt that he was an Islamist?
    See below story from A-7:

Police in Gunfight with Suspected ‘Toulouse Monster’
    by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

Elite French police are engaged in a gunfight this moment at a four-story building with the suspected Toulouse murderer, who is of Algerian origin and is linked with Al Qaeda.

One police officer suffered serious wounds, and two others were wounded lightly. The suspect is a 24-year-old Muslim who French officials said has travelled to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Police brought his mother to his apartment building, but she said she was unable to convince her son to surrender. The apartment is relatively close to the Otzar HaTorah Jewish day school, where the terrorist shot his vicitms.

The suspect is armed with a high-caliber rifle, and he announced he would not surrender alive. Simultaneously, police searched for and arrested the brother of the suspect, who reportedly was in the house when the raid began.

He told authorities that he and his brother carried out the murders of the three French soldiers in Montauban and of the Jews at the Toulouse day school to protest the deaths of Gaza terrorists and France's involvement with the war on terror in Afghanistan.

French Interior Minister Claude Gueant is at the scene of the raid, which began a few minutes after 4 a.m. Israel time, as the neighborhood was sealed off. He said that the police want to capture the suspect alive so he can stand trial, but other French sources said that police may decide to kill the man and end the operation.

Terror has also hit Paris, where an explosion was heard at a foreign embassy. No injuries were reported.

France is in shock over the serial murders of French soldiers and Rabbi Yonatan Sandler, his two young sons and the little daughter of the principal of the Otzar HaTorah school in Toulouse on Tuesday. Their bodies have been flown to Israel, where they are to be buried in Jerusalem at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy commented, "When you grab a little girl to put a bullet in her head, without leaving her any chance, you are a monster. An anti-Semitic monster, but first of all a monster.’

  16. "The difference is that France is not committing or condoning these acts."

Exactly. That is a huge difference.

Krystallnacht was a coordinated nationwide action by an arm of the ruling party, aided and abetted (on party orders) by the police.
