President Obama has actually tried to say that Solyndra was a bi-partisan problem.

2010- Unidentified Republican president visitng Solyndra plant in California
Right. The idea to give Solyndra money, indeed, began during the Bush administration. However, the money was never given because there had been red flags raised. Then, when Obama came into office, with the same red flags sitting there, the money was paid out anyway. Of course, we know that George Kaiser, one of Obama's campaign bundlers and a major investor with Solyndra, was lobbying in the White House for the deal to go through.

"Republican" fund raiser George Kaiser
That wasn't a Republican White House that was calling OMB and the Congressional Budget Office and pressuring them to sign off on Solyndra because a Republican vice-president could make the announcement.
And that was not a Republican president who toured the Solyndra facility a couple of years back and tooted their horn as being the wave of the future. That was President Obama.
And those Republicans? In the House, none voted for the package that contained the Solyndra money. In the Senate, only Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and "Snarlin" Arlen Spector voted for it.
Sorry, Mr President. Solyndra is yours. Deal with it.
Again, Obama uses the teachings of the radical, Saul Alinsky, in order to polarize America and blame someone else for his failures. He is counting on Americans being uninformed about the issues, so he can deceive, as he has done in the past. Only three Congressional Republicans where in favor of the Solyndra and the rest are Democrats.
ReplyDeleteWhat Americans do understand, is the price at the pump, which will only get worse. I imagine that by November, gas maybe at six dollars a gallon. Bye-Bye Mr. American pie. There is a Chevy (Volt) for you.

Obama is unable to accept fault for his mistakes. This is a deep character flaw, a sign of mental instability. As a child he must have blamed others for his misdeeds. Especially those horrible children: Not Me and I Don't Know.

Don't count on $6 a gallon by November. I expect it to go to $8.
The price of gas is only one policy failure. There is another problem with the national debt, another is ObamaCare, then there is Solyndra, another is foreign policy, the list goes on and on.
ReplyDeleteThe people who swept the last election in 2010 are still there and just can't wait to vote. I don't think any of them became Democrats because of anything Obama has done. Anything can happen but as things stand now , it would be a historic Republican sweep.
Yeah, how 'bout them Volts. In addition to giving you up to 40 miles or so on a charge, they also can now burn your house down due to a glitch in charging cords. I can't wait to go buy one, maybe two.
