Jewish Veterans Graves Vandalized in Florida

Hat tip to Monkey in the Middle

Jewish cemetery destroyed by Nazis (Czestotova, Poland)                         Florida 2012

A national (veterans's) cemetery in Bushnell, Florida was vandalized this week. The headstones that were pushed over all bore the Star of David.

This reminds me of what happened to the Jews in Germany in 1938 during Kristallnacht. Among other outrages, Jewish cemeteries were vandalized and, like in Florida, the headstones were pushed over. Many of those headstones bore the Iron Cross from the deceased's service fighting for Germany in World War I.

We don't know who the vandals in Florida are as yet. I would be willing to make a wager, however, that none of them have ever served their country in uniform-or would even be willing to.

What kind of society have we become? Is it too late to everse the course? I really don't know.
