Ed Schultz Condemns' Limbaugh Over "Slut" Word

Talk about blatant hypocrisy! Ed "Butter and Egg Man" Schultz, that great defender of feminine honor, is condemning Rush Limbaugh for his use of the word, "slut" in referring to the Georgetown law student who testified about the high cost of contraceptives this week before Congress.

Let me be clear. I do not condone what Rush Limbaugh said about Sandra Fluke. He should not have said it. Having said that, Ed Schultz is the last man who should be condemning Limbaugh. Just last year, Schultz was on the radio calling Laura Ingraham a "slut'-a  "right-wing slut", no less. In fact, Schultz repeated the "slut" word 3 or 4 times in referring to Ingraham. For that, he was suspended by MSNBC.

Did it not occur to Schultz that someone like me would remember his words before he launched into his "War on Women" tirade? Of course, a deeper question here is that nobody is denying women their right to practice birth control. Nobody is denying me my right to drink beer. But if I am left to pay for it out of my own pocket rather than have my insurance be forced to cover it, it hardly means I am going to die of thirst.

                                                                        "Hear hear."

Advice to Ed Schultz: Next time you want to attack someone for using inappropriate language about a woman, let Rachel Maddow carry your water.

  1. Believe it or don't, I used to watch this guy a little bit on his previous show, the name of which escapes me. In his most recent incarnation, he seems much more radical and crazy (maybe he's on dope??), and about as dumb as a day-old donkey. Thanx but no thanx.
