Hat tip to Investigative Project on Terrorism
We can now add the Chicago Police Department to the list of law enforcement agencies who are bowing at the feet of CAIR. Steve Emerson's Investigative Project on Terrorism has the report.

The above article lays out the case against CAIR's Chicago chapter. What is particularly troubling here is that now we are seeing a pattern of CAIR pitting one law enforcement agency against another. The NYPD issue and the FBI training manuals issue has CAIR asking other police agencies to condemn the above actions. I personally witnessed this at the town hall in Garden Grove at the Islamic Center of Orange County on February 19 when LASD Sheriff Lee Baca and LAPD chief of counter-terrorism Michael Downing sat on a panel and heard co-panelists condemn the FBI and NYPD.
There is ample evidence to show that the Chicago PD should not be cavorting with CAIR. To allow CAIR to use them as a whip against fellow law enforcement agencies is outrageous.
If anyone cares to hear a different Muslim take on the NYPD surveillance program, I recommend Dr Zuhdi Jasser and the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, as well as the American Islamic Leadership Coalition.

ReplyDeleteMayor Richard J. Daley must be turning over in his grave. His cops would never have done anything like that. They were too busy shaking down prostitutes and after hours taverns, and making sure Republican poll watchers stayed away from the precinct committees recording the vote totals. They had a "Red Squad" that tore into anyone who crossed Daley's machine. Ah, those were the good old days!
