Who is the Victim Here?

A few days ago, there was a violent attack in San Clemente (That's in Orange County for all you UC Santa Cruz Community Studies majors). It appears that a group of Hispanic gang members are charged with attempted murder after beating up three white men and leaving one fighting for his life after being smashed in the head with a brick. The below report from the San Clemente Patch (January 13, 2012), which includes a quote from our favorite human relations director, Rusty Kennedy,  gives you an idea how the liberal media (and the liberal Kennedy) spin this.

http://sanclemente.patch.com/articles/community-workers-urge-groups-to-unite-after-attack

"Thanks to the injunction, combined with work by the sheriff's Gang Reduction and Intervention Program, OC Human Relations and the city of San Clemente, gang-related crime in town has drastically dropped over the past three years, officials said."

Well, not quite.

Yes, folks. What we need to worry about is the backlash from that racist white community (probably tea-partiers to boot). What we need to worry about is "racially-charged rumblings from certain parts of the white community" and some vague reference to an unnamed white power gang.

Before I go any further, let me engage in the requisite non-racist "some of my best friends" disclaimer. I have no axe to grind against Hispanics. I am married to one; in fact, about half of my friends and all of my surviving family members are Hispanic, OK??

But can you imagine how this story would have been written if three white gang members had done this act to three Hispanics? Do you think this fish wrap in San Clemente would have expressed its concern that Hispanics would be on the prowl looking to exert a little "backlash"? Do you think there would be a reference to "racially-charged rumblings from certain parts" of the Hispanic community?

Do you think that our empty suit CEO of the OC Human Relations Committee, Rusty Kennedy, would be proclaiming that this was not a brown-white issue? Hardly. He would be screaming "hate crime". That is his raison d'etre, you know. That's why the OCHRC gets $300,000 a year in tax-payer money. You see, Mr Kennedy is very selective about what he labels a hate crime. It has to fit into his liberal parameters.

All of which points out the need to face unpleasant facts squarely. If San Clemente is anything like Los Angeles, where I grew up, most Hispanic parents know there is a problem of gang violence within their own communities because they are the chief victims of it. Their worst enemies are the white liberals who don't want to confront it for fear of being called racist or politically incorrect. Instead, we have empty suits like Rusty Kennedy rushing here and there, making statements, trying to justify his existence, and giving out his ridiculous "Rusty award" every year to his chosen liberal pals.

I don't know anything about Rose Velasquez, who is mentioned in this article, but given this incident, look for Rusty to hand out one of these awards to Ms. Velasquez this year.

  1. Like many snivel servants, Rusty Kennedy believes he is sacrificing his talents to help others when in fact his degree in sociology from hole in the wall ,private liberal arts college would qualify him to do?

  3. Oh, none of us likes Rusty Kennedy. You can call me a socialist, a libertarian, or a cultural conservative, but none of us likes liberals.

I don't know to whom you are directing your deep thoughts, here Dude. I didn't call you a gang-someone else did. I don't even know who you (pl) are.

Tip: Gotta get away from that texting, Man. It does nothing for your English writing skills.
