ISM in Sweden and the Palestinian Center for Rapproachment Between People
The nation of Sweden tends to be very hostile to the state of Israel. Diplomatic relations are frigid, and public and official opinion heavily favors the Palestinian side of the conflict. It is also a hotbed of numerous non-governmental organizations that are aligned with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), a Palestinian -created organization that is heavily engaged in anti-Israel propaganda and training of young Western college-aged youth to join the world-wide effort to de-legitimize the Jewish state. One of the main tools to accomplish this is the numerous so-called alternative travel agencies, many of which are located in the West Bank. One of these agencies has been written about often on this blog, the Palestinian Center for the Rapprochement Between People. This agency is one of the principle points of contact for the Olive Tree Initiative that takes University of California students annually to Israel and the West Bank to "expose them to both sides of the conflict." The current chairperson of the Center is Mazin Qumsiyeh. In addition, two of the board members are George N. Rishmawi and George S. Rishmawi, who was a co-founder of the ISM. (He claims to be no longer be involved with them.) All three of these individuals have been previously mentioned on this site as contacts and guides with the Olive Tree Initiative.
Those who are involved with and/or support the OTI have tried to distance the above individuals from the ISM.
However, let's return to Sweden. The ISM has a branch in Sweden. Below is their website.

When you go to that website, and click "lankar' (links), you will come to the below page.

Scroll down, and lo and behold, there is the Palestinian Center for Rapprochement Between People. The description is in Swedish, but here is what it says:
"One of our cooperating partners in Palestine. A non-violent organization, PCR. It was PCR activists who originally started the ISM."
Indeed.
The point, which should come as no surprise to anyone, is that there is still a working relationship between the PCR and the ISM. That only strengthens the question of why is the OTI involved with the Center for Rapprochement?
Of course the Swedes hate Israel. They're an ultra-socialist dystopia that doesn't care a lick about freedom! Right now they're letting the Muslims completely take over and institute Shariah law throughout the country. They won't wake up and notice until the Imams ban their ABBA records!
