Nihad Awad, the CEO of CAIR, is running this statement on the CAIR website regarding Anwar Awlaki.

Not so fast, Mr Awad. The associations between Awlaki and CAIR have long been documented.

It's easy to dismiss Awlaki as a bad guy while lamenting the fact that our military took him out in a war situation, but the fact is that Awlaki, CAIR, Awad, and all these other questionable groups and figures are swimming in the same lake. They know each other: they work with each other; and they have the same goals-to tear down this country and replace it with an Islamic caliphate-even if it takes a hundred years.
Recently, a poll indicated that only 11% of American Muslims identify with CAIR. That is a positive sign. They know what it is like to live "in the old country". I think most of them prefer to keep things the way they are here. I would guess that secretly, most of them wish CAIR would disappear.
You mean like Ford Motor Co. and I.G. Farben swam in the same lake 1939-1945? (And earlier, but it wasn't criminal then).
ReplyDeleteYou could make that analogy, but I think it's a tad too strong.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't read that Ford was compensated by the U.S. government for the destruction of its property in Germany 1941-1945? Factories converted from auto production to building airplane engines?
