Three cheers to the Obama administration for cutting off 60 million dollars to UNESCO after they granted membership to the Palestinians.

Oh, you mean it was required by law?
As for that delegate who yelled, "Vive la Palestine!", I think I know what he's saying now.
"Merde."
This is good news for Obama. He now has 30 million more dollars to spend on green, solar energy companies.

UNESCO chose morality over Jewish money.
ReplyDeleteWill the US ever make the same choice?
Nelly,
ReplyDeleteThanks for making my point. The UN has been marked by anti-Semitism for many decades. Once again, dolts like you give away your true attitudes about Jews.
I'm not affiliated with the United Nations in any way Gary.
ReplyDeleteI can see no way that Palestinian membership to UNESCO hurts the United States.
Palestinian membership and enfranchisement does hurt Israel's attempts to smother and suppress Palestinian nationhood.
So when the Jewish Lobby pulls the strings, American politicians will do Israel's bidding.
Next year is an election year.
I don't think any one lobby pulls the strings. This is a requirement passed by Congress. You should not assume that Jews are one big monolithic group that thinks alike and supports Israel. There are many who are on the other side. I have learned that from first-hand experience.
ReplyDelete"I don't think any one lobby pulls the strings. This is a requirement passed by Congress."
ReplyDeleteMr. Fouse takes the Most Naive Blogger 2011 award for that.
The very fact that the US Congress passed laws 20 years ago (1991 I believe) to explicitly prevent a single nation's entry into UNESCO shows the influence of the Jewish lobby and our nations utter depravity and outright bullying of Palestine/Palestinians.

ReplyDeleteOur nations' utter depravity? Maybe it had something to do with all the hijackings and other forms of terrorist attacks the Palestinians were committing. As for lobbies, have you never heard of K street in Washington DC? There hundreds of lobbies Congress has to deal with. Are they all controlled by Jews too?
You not only give away your Jew-hatred, but your own contempt for your country. You make my case for me.
The law is the law. That doesn't prevent a citizen from asserting that the law was a mistake, or that it has outlived any legitimate purpose it may once have had. UNESCO did the right thing. The U.S. should not be in a position of retaliating in such a churlish and juvenile manner. This is the moment when Israel could secure peace by working with the PA, particularly the current prime minister. Apparently, Bibi would rather dance with Hamas.
