Spin This, Lawrence O'Donnell

A man affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street protests tackles a police officer during a march towards Wall Street in New York, on Friday.
Hat tip to Gateway Pundit

"God bless them."
-Nancy Pelosi

MSNBC's socialist commentator Lawrence O'Donnell was quick to accuse New York cops of police brutality in the early days of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Friday, this is what happened to a New York cop.

Gateway Pundit has a report on the incident with a video. It seems that a cop threw a punch at a protester after he (the cop) was jumped and hit with some kind of spray.

In the video, the person appears to be the same as in the above photo except that he appears to have a green shirt.

Anyway, surely O'Donnell and his gang at MSNBC will focus on the punch and neglect the part that started everything. The moral of the stroy is-never jump a cop.

Ah, the fog of war.

  2. Facebook has its limits. An event like this, particularly a sustained campaign, needs well trained monitors to maintain order and handle discussions with the police. The last protest here in Milwaukee against Gov. Walker's closed door meeting with the Chamber of Commerce was a model, including the behavior of the police as well as the leadership of the picket line outside.
