Obama Feels Wall Street Protesters' Pain
The "99%-ers".
It is hardly surprising that President Obama empathizes with the feelings of the mob at Wall Street who want the government to take from the producers of society and give it to them without having to work for it. It is not surprising that Obama has no empathy for the Tea Party folks whose focus is on getting government out of their lives and out of their wallets.

Obama feels empathy for the people who have been arrested for blocking public access to streets and the Brooklyn Bridge. He feels no empathy for the folks who have not been arrested, but have conducted their rallies with civility.
Obama feels empathy for those who despise capitalism and its pillars. Anybody who has been successful through their own work is to be despised. Of course, Obama has empathy for the protesters. He supports redistributing wealth to people like those protesting. They have earned nothing, but they want what the earners have. That is why it is called redistribution. In contrast, the Tea Partiers have earned what they have and resent having government take it away from them to give it to what you see in New York.
Obama has no empathy for them.
Next November, there will be a very clear choice.
I don't believe the Republicans are tending toward any choice at all. I've got an Obama sticker and a magnetic sign for my little Kia.
ReplyDeleteI'm considering two Republican for 2012, Roemer and Huntsman, if they can emerge from the pack this year, like Romney did in 2008.
P.S. Are you talking about Tea Party 1.0, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1 or 4.0?
