Daily Caller has this article on MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell giving a lecture to Herman Cain on why he didn't march for civil rights or serve in the military.

This brings to mind hypocrites like Michael Moore and Bill Maher, who called George W Bush names like "deserter" and "draft dodger" for having served in the reserves while they had no military experience whatsoever. I have checked O'Donnell's bio on Wikipedia and find no mention of miltary service on his part. Perhaps, I am wrong, but unless O'Donnell has, indeed, served in the military, where does he get off questioning Cain on this?
Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black all right, and no pun intended. Away with them all!
ReplyDeleteIn 2008, a Vietnam veteran caught a ride on the bus I was driving in the Labor Day parade. He told me he had been campaigning for Barack Obama in a Republican-leaning suburb, where a bunch of McCain supporters ran up to say "Veterans should support veterans." The vet's answer was "when McCain does something for veterans, I'll consider that." I speculated on whether these same individuals had said that in 2004, when a decorated Vietnam veteran was running for president.
