Fast and Furious: More People Who Knew

Hat tips are due to Pajamas Media for relentlessly following the ATF Fast and Furious scandal, as well as CBS reporter Sharyll Attkisson, who must be persona non grata at media watering holes in New York. Add Gary Grindler of the DOJ as another high-level official who received a detailed debriefing on Fast and Furious in the early months of its operation. We can also put that DOJ defense claim of "Bush did it too". Operation Wide Receiver involved an effort to surveill the guns. It failed due to reasons detailed below, but there was no intentional effort to allow guns to get into Mexico.

What is especially disturbing here is the fact that the entire DOJ apparatus is fighting this investigation. This underlines the need for a special prosecutor-not a DOJ inspector general who reports to Holder-and who is already compromised (Cynthia Schnedar). For her to be in charge of an investigation into her boss and long-time colleague (Holder) is a conflict of interest. It also underlines the need to bring more people in and put them under oath. Somebody needs to flip, as we say in law enforcement jargon (spill the beans).

Putting aside the professional agents and career prosecutors working in DOJ and its agencies, it is clear that Eric Holder has flooded this department with dishonest left-wing activists who are bringing shame and corruption to federal law enforcement.
