Terrror in Oslo

Just a few days ago, I did a posting on the situation in Oslo, Norway. Today, we awaken to the report of an apparent bomb explosion in the main government building. At least one person is reported dead.

I will refrain from speculating on the perpetrators until more is known. That is the lesson of Oklahoma City.

Update: At this point, at least 16 people are reported dead including a separate shooting attack at a youth camp on a Norwegian island. The gunman is in custody but not identified.

Further update: At this point, 17 are reported dead. The gunman in custody is believed to be responsible for both attacks. Authorities are saying that he is a Norwegian, and that there is no known link to Islamic terror.
