Stop the Presses! Harvard Professor Condemns Flotilla-and Yale

Hat tip to Jerusalem Post

Ruth Wisse of Harvard University has condemned the latest Gaza flotilla attempt as just another effort to kill Jews (indirectly of course.) She also condemns Yale for scrapping a center to study anti-Semitism.

That ought to bring back the glory years of that old Harvard-Yale rivalry.

  1. Maybe she got the idea that Yale was sponsoring the flotilla... then, of course, she would be opposed.

Since this variant of the Anonymous strain has shown up again, let me add in all seriousness that she is neither more worthy, nor less worthy, to be taken seriously, because she is most likely Jewish. (I am a Methodist).

Can you honestly tell me Gary this type of hatred has nothing to do with the racist ideology that is Judaism?

  4. Findalis, if you're sill in Illinois, you should know that yesterday the upper midwest was experiencing weather from hell. It's still not clear how much it is going to cool down today.

(Note: It appears that Gary has deleted the Anonymous comment to which I was responding, therefore, most of my previous comment may appear to lack context, although it remains perfectly true.)

  5. Anonymous,

I don't consider it hatred to state that. Why don't you debate and refute that statement?

  6. Anonymous,

I have deleted your comment as being racist-in this case against Jews and their religion. The Holocaust is a documented fact. Nothing happening in Israel or the disputed proerties can be compared to that.

  7. I don't know what is going on. The Anonymous statement that was deleted is back, along with a comment from Gary saying he deleted it.

It does begin to sound like Anonymous is commenting from Haydn Lake Idaho, or rather, wherever the Aryan Nations fled to after Haydn Lake was foreclosed to pay a judgement.
