Remember that government (US taxpayer) buyout of Chrysler?
Well, now we hear that Chrysler has been sold to a suitable buyer.
Fiat! (Which means, "Fix It Again, Tony". Take it from me. I owned one while living in Italy. Chrysler will fit right in.)
Not only that, but the US Government took a $1.3 billion loss in the deal. Fox News breaks down the figures in terms that even MSNBC's Contessa Brewer and I can understand.
"Ah wunnerful ah wunnerful ah."
I (and my fellow conservatives) hate to say, "We told you so", but the government has proved that it can't run a car company.
A relative gave me a FIAT Millicento (1000cc motor) around 1963. I drove the piece of crap for a year. This car always had electrical problems, would die in the rain, had poor steering, poor road stability and would not go up hills if you had two or more passengers. It was the worst car I ever own. It was easy to figure out why the relative gave it to me.
