DSK-The French Reaction

Hat tip to Gallia Watch

It seems that the mixed-up French have a very mixed reaction to the arrest of Dominique Strauss-Kahn in New York. Many want to build a statue to the local cop who made the pinch, while some of France's illuminati don't understand what the fuss is all about. Gallia Watch has two interesting articles on what they are saying in France. It's all there, the references to DSK's Jewishness, the fact that the victim is African, the claim that he "only lifted her skirt". etc.

Maybe the Frenchies should stop worrying about who is Jewish, who is black, and all that stuff and read the complaint.

Who knows? Maybe Officer Steven Lane will replace Jerry Lewis as France's favorite American-the man who saved France (from a Strauss-Kahn presidency).

Jerry Lewis, move over!

  1. This is pretty standard form, anywhere in the world, for how devotees and foes respond when a high-profile person is charged with a felony.

It's just what I always thought the other guys were capable of...

Hey, no way, my hero couldn't do that...

    Etc. Etc. Etc.

Findalis is the only voice in the whole wide world to say anything entertaining, original insightful, or on the money. (CHEAP).

    Very predictable. Very boring.

We'll see what the jury says.
