Sunday, there was another anti-Israel protest in New York City on the occasion of Israel's independence day. In the below video, you can hear the chant, "Khaybar, Khaybar, ah Yahoud", calling to Jews to remember their defeat at Khaybar and that Mohammad's armies are coming back.

The anti-Semitic chants, of course, did not deter the lunatic fringe Jewish Orthodox Neturei Karta sect from joining in. They are modern-day Kapos, if you ask me.
Somebody needs to clue these yahoos in to the fact that Israel is an ally of the United States and they can take their hateful anti-Jewish chants elsewhere. This chant has no place in civilized discourse in our country. It is racist, and it is violent. That kind of language should be condemned, and more than anyone, CAIR should make a statement about it
Don't hold your breath
What does Israel being an ally of the United States have to do with these ill informed dunces having the legal right to parade it on the street? The U.S. was an ally of the British in 1916, but Irish Americans were funding the IRB for years before that.
ReplyDeleteTwo thumbs down on this protest. People who don't know their own history should not parade their ignorance in public.
I wonder where this feature fits into Hatem Bazian's "Islamophobia curriculum", at UC "Bezerkly".

I wouldn't call the Naturei Karta guys kapos; they're simply lunatics. They are to Judaism as Fred Phelps and his ilk are to Christianity.
ReplyDeleteThere are ultra-ultra-Orthodox Jews who have claimed that the Holocaust was God's way of inflicting punishment on Europe's Jews for embracing Zionism prior to the coming of the messiah.
