A Travel Advisory out of Jerusalem

I just have received this e-mail from Hank Dannecker of 1New Heart in Jerusalem.

"Dear Friends,

Several moments ago we received this travel measure from the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem.

There is a high alert for all Americans living abroad.

As a precautionary measure, the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem has

suspended all personal travel of official American personnel to Jericho

and has restricted personal travel of official American personnel on

routes 1 and 90 (including to and from the Allenby Bridge) to

pre-authorized travel only. These restrictions are in effect Saturday

through Monday, February 19-21, 2011.

Although we try to be wise, the best wisdom we find in times like this is;

Psalm 20:7-8

Some trust in chariots and some in horses,

but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

They are brought to their knees and fall,

But we rise up and stand firm.

Blessings in these days of joy and uncertainty!"

Gee, I wonder what the problem could possibly be. Highwaymen, perhaps? Maybe a tiger escaped from the local zoo.
