The circus is coming back to UCLA. Yes, indeed. It's Palestine Awareness Week aka Israel Hate Week at UCLA. Here's the "All-Star" lineup.

Well actually, it's a pretty weak lineup compared to the events at UC-Irvine.
The "headliners" are Alison Weir, who will once again trot out her tired old movie, "If Americans only knew", Hatem Bazian, propagandist from UC Berzerkley and Mr Dependable, Amir Abdel Malik Ali, fresh off his blockbuster appearance last Sunday in Yorba Linda. Ali is a staple of the Muslim Student Associations giving his hate-filled diatribes at virtually every UC campus. As usual, he will rail against Israel, the US and "Zionist Jews". I wonder who he will accuse of being a Zionist Jew this time.
"Bill O'Reilly. Straight-up Zionist Jew!!"
Here's a tip for the Qand A; ask him which he hates more-Israel or America. That really stumps him. This is one of the "moderates" the Islamic Circle of North America brought to speak at Yorba Linda. People even brought their children.
Hatem Bazian is a Palestinian professor at UC Berzerkley who also makes the circuit of Hate Israel events. He drips arrogance like a Tommy's Cheeseburger drips grease. Suggested question for Q and A? Ask him how many UC buildings are named after Jews. It is reported he knows the answer.

What? No dancing bears?
O'Reilly's a Jew? That reminds me of my high school chemistry teacher, who told us every St. Patrick's Day how his grandfather emigrated from the small Irish village of Dusseldorf.
ReplyDeleteGary, I don't mind that you talk about these mindless cretins, but please, be dismissive instead of crediting them with being dangerous. They thrive on your concern, like Antaeus reviving whenever he came into contact with the earth.
Siarlys,
ReplyDeleteI consider Malik Ali to be very dangerous for the poison he is putting in young people's minds against their own country. I have told him that to his face.
Palestine awareness week? We just don't hear of such nonsense at the schools in Texas or most of the South. Perhaps I am just not up on what goes on at college these days. Never heard of such a thing down here though. I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteI like these type of updates.
ReplyDeleteIt is disturbing that students who are smart enough to be attending UCLA (or UC Irvine) would invite someone like Amir Abdel Malik Ali to speak at the campus. Don’t they realize they are marginalizing their group?
Do they really think that someone who goes around calling everyone he disagrees with a “Zionist Jew” or a poo-butt is going to do any good?
Siarlys,
ReplyDeleteOne of the dangerous things about Abdel Malik is that he is extremely bright. He was student body president at SF State. He is charismatic and he is an outstanding speaker. His intellectual weakness is that he believes in a lot of conspiracy theories. Make no mistake; he is influencing young minds.
Gary, I doubt that you are saving young minds from his influence by your denunciations, just as I doubt that Nancy Pelosi is winning honest American voters away from the more cynically manipulative of the Tea Party bosses.
ReplyDeleteThink about what you could say that would get the attention of young Americans who are entranced by this man's charisma and intellect, that would motivate them to stop and think, and would discredit his dangerous perspective in the minds of those who are drawn to him now.
As it is, you are preaching to the choir of people who never liked him in the first place. I make roughly the same criticism of the Democratic National Committee, whenever I tell their phone bank people why I am NOT donating. They are too busy indulging in righteous indignation about the way their opposition is getting traction with American voters, instead of presenting something new to American voters that makes MORE SENSE than the tripe John Boehner has offered.
