Lisa Murkowski and her Endorsement From the Grave

Lisa Murkowski takes the cake when it comes to the sore loser category. Instead of gracefully supporting the man who defeated her in the primaries (Joe Miller), she keeps going as a write-in candidate. How classless. Now comes this video endorsement from the late Ted Stevens (filmed July 30, 2010).

Of course, when it comes to Alaska, the names Stevens and Murkowski are the power names in that state's politics. With all due respect to the recently-deceased Stevens, I wouldn't take his endorsement for anything. I regarded him as a corrupt politician (May he rest in peace).

Of course, one might ask if Stevens would have endorsed Miller after his primary victory or continued to endorse Murkowski as a write-in.

And, of course, Murkowski "had too much class" to use the video after Stevens' death, but there she is at the end endorsing the ad anyway.

  1. A pox on all their houses. Alaska used to boast some really admirable civic leadership, such as Ernest Gruening and Mike Gravel. Not much to admire any more.

  2. Murkowski is as bad for Alaska as Pelosi is bad for America....

she didn't EVEN go to DC for Stevens' burial as she was too busy doing what is best for LISA...totally classless and ARROGANT
ALASKANS: FIRED HER....she has NO POLITICAL FUTURE!!

  3. Actually, I'm hoping the Democrat can get a plurality in this race. Serve them all right. Joe Miller can't do math, or he wouldn't run on the "lower taxes to reduce the deficit" claptrap.
