Many of you probably don't know that one of Harry Reid's sons, Rory, is running for governor of Nevada. He apparently has learned some tips from Alan Grayson when it comes to putting up false ads. In the below story in the Las Vegas Sun, Reid's campaign produced an ad in which they edited parts of candidate Brian Sandoval's interview to make it look like he's tied in with lobbyists.

Well, I have no idea if Sandoval has ties to lobbyists, but I know Rory Reid sure does. Rory, one of Harry's four sons, has two brothers and a brother-in-law who are lobbyists.
Here’s how the Los Angeles Times puts it:
"But Harry Reid is in a class by himself. One of his sons and his son-in-law lobby in Washington for companies, trade groups and municipalities seeking Reid’s help in the Senate. A second son has lobbied in Nevada for some of those same interests, and a third has represented a couple of them as a litigator.
In the last four years alone, their firms have collected more than $2 million in lobbying fees from special interests that were represented by the kids and helped by the senator in Washington."
-LA Times-June 23, 2003
Furthermore, Rory is so embarrassed by his father's name that he has dropped it in his campaign.
It's "Rory for Governor."
Maybe Harry should take note.
"Harry for Senator."
Only one thing can save Harry Reid, and that thing won the Republican primary to run against him. The word in the press in the great American middle is that Nevada voters have made one thing clear: they loathe both of the choices they have been offered. Odds are, Harry will win by a hair, and voters will take out their fury on Rory. What possessed that silly man to run the SAME YEAR his father was up for re-election??? Reminds me of one of the many reasons I didn't want Hillary in 2008.
