James Clyburn throws out the race card
"The tea partiers will turn this into a racial issue"
Keith Olbermann addressed the ethics investigations into Maxine Waters and Charles Rangel last night on "Countdown" with his own special spin. While pointing out that Waters is making the rounds of the black news shows including Al Sharpton, Olby brought in Washington Post reporter, Eugene (Chuckles) Robinson. Together, they strongly implied what they cannot prove-that it is all about race.

I had not been aware-until informed by Olby-that there have been a total of 8 House ethics investigations this year-all involving African-American Democrats. I was only aware of Rangel and Waters. What Olby and Robinson strongly imply that it is mathematically impossible for this to happen unless...... Well, you get the idea. Keith and Robinson also made the case that as far as what Waters is accused of-well, don't they all do it?
If they all do it, then I say get all of these bums out of Congress. The problem is that the rules are so convoluted that bribery is almost legal in the US.
One would hope that corruption could be dealt with honestly without bringing in the race of the culprits. I don't know what Rangel will do here, but with Waters, there is little doubt. She has a secure seat in Los Angeles. She will drag her party into a racial cauldron-after all-that's what she does.
The dilemma that Olbermann, Robinson and their ilk have is that this is a Democrat- controlled Congress. They can't blame the Republicans or the Tea Party for this-though they will try. James Clyburn has already thrown that dead octopus onto the ice this week. My advice to the Republicans would be to sit back and enjoy this. Do or say nothing more than cast your votes after the hearings are done. This is Nancy Pelosi's show. It will be another clear demonstration of how the Democrats under Obama are dividing this nation according to race.
