Pat Leahy Pulls Strings at O'Hare

News item: Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy (pictured below).....

....apparently used his authority as a US Senator to jump the line at Chicago's O'Hare Airport yesterday. When the pilot on Leahy's flight announced that there were 30 planes in front of them and the delay would be about 30 minutes, Leahy walked to the back of the plane and spoke to someone in charge (tower, pilot, flight hostess, who knows?) Within minutes, the pilot announced that the plane had been cleared for takeoff. Here is an exclusive Fousesquawek photo of the incident.

"This is United 103 to tower; we have a horse's ass on board, and need immediate clearance for take-off, over."

"Tower to United 103. You are cleared for take-off, over."

Bet Harry Reid couldn't do that.
