This week, at the White House Correspondents dinner, President Obama made a joke about the Jonas brothers (who were present) warning them to lay off his daughters lest they get hit by predator drones. The boys were a little put off since Obama's daughters are under age. ("We're not pedophiles, said one.)
But seriously offended for another reason was your friend and mine, MSNBC mad hatter Keith Olbermann, who thinks the only time anyone should laugh is when he is doing his "worst person in the world" gig or throwing his papers on the floor. Olbermann failed to see any humor on the topic of predator drones or weapons of mass destruction.
One wonders now if perhaps there is a split among the mad-hatters of MSNBC. After all, Chris Matthews suffers from restless leg syndrome whenever Obama makes a speech. And then there are Keith's other sidekicks at MSNBC, Jonathan Alter and Richard Wolffe (with 2 "f"s), both of whom have come out with adoring biographies of Obama after being given open access to the White House. These, of course, are a must for any library.
This just in! Police have been called to NBC Hqs in New York after reports of multiple gun shots!
