Rep. Phil Hare (D-IL) on the Constitution

Last week, Illinois Congressman Phil Hare (D) took a lot of heat for telling a town hall questioner that he wasn't "worried about the Constitution" (in regards to the government health care bill). When the questioner called him a liar, he stormed out, got in his car and rode off. Here is the tape that caused all the firestorm.

Yesterday, Hare produced his own videotape in order to clarify his statement.

You be the judge.

Here's another video of Congressman Phil in action in the House. In this tape, he is taking exception to the term "union boss" as having been used by National Right to Work VP Doug Stafford.

It is not surprising that Hare would object to the term "union boss". Prior to joining Congress, Hare was a....... union boss.
