Climate-Gate Scandal of the Day
Phil Jones (former) head of Climate Research Unit, East Anglia University
The stories about the Climate-Gate fraud keep pouring out of the UK, first by the Telegraph, now the Guardian. One wonders where our own esteemed New York Times is on this story. Probably the same place they were when the National Enquirer was breaking the John Edwards scandal. Now comes a story about how the now-resigned head of the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University, Phil Jones, hid and/or manipulated data coming out of Chinese weather stations.

Yet, the GW fanatics refuse to understand that this giant ponzi scheme is collapsing around them. The Al Gores of the world still cling to flimsy claims about "peer review", as if that were a process that could never be corrupted as it was in California recently (and reported on this site).
I recently said that within 5-25 years, we would all acknowledge that this was the greatest hoax in world history. Make that 5-10 years.
I don't suppose you missed this line, did you?
ReplyDelete"Revelations on the inadequacies of this global warming data do not undermine the case that humans are causing climate change, and other studies have produced similar findings."
And that's from Fox News!
Oh, and...

You're right. Peer review doesn't work when it isn't actually done. My car also doesn't work when I don't put the key in and turn the ignition. That's why this whole "horseless carriage" thing is a hoax.
Lance,
ReplyDeletePeer review also doesn't work when "peers" doing the reviewing participated in the study.
Indeed. That's why you don't call that "peer review".
