Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Attacks Jews
Mahathir Mohamad
"If they can make Avatar, they can make anything."
(Hat tip to American Thinker)
The Jakarta Globe article below reporters comments by former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad about the US and Jews. In the article Mohammed, speaking at at Islamic conference this week in Kuala Lumpur, accuses the US of staging 9-11 in order to go to war against Islam then goes on to attack Jews.

Is this guy nuts too? Here we have yet another fool who thinks the US faked 9-11 and that Jews deserved what has happened to them in Europe. It is beyond disgusting.
These comments come in the wake of recent attacks against Christian churches in Malaysia in reaction to the country's Supreme Court ruling that Christians in Malaysia can use the term "Allah" in reference to God.
For years, we had considered Malaysia to be a moderate country. (I visited Malaysia in the 1970s.) Now we must wonder. This, of course, is the same nation that historically has gone on anti-Chinese rampages when times were bad. For them, the Chinese residents were the scapegoats. Now, it appears that they have found new scapegoats.
It's only a matter of time before this character shows up speaking on US university campuses.
The stuff this guy spews is almost as crazy as claiming that Global Warming is a huge Marxist conspiracy!
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right; universities suck! Who needs all that learnin'?
Nolan,
ReplyDeleteI would not compare 9-11 truthers with GW deniers. The deniers have a basis for their opinion. 9-11 truthers are simply loons.
I didn't say deniers. I said claiming that it was a huge Marxist conspiracy.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's someone else's paranoid conspiracy, they're loons. When it's mine, I've figured out something that very few people can see or realize.
Nolan,
ReplyDeleteI get it. You think I'm some Joe McCarthy looking for a commie under every bed.
Well, it's not that bad, but have you ever wondered where all the marxists went after communism collapsed in Europe? I'm not making any accusations here, but it seems to me that the goals of the radical enviromentalists are eerily similar to marxism. The Environment seems a handy vehicle.
Just something to think about.
I could be wrong of course....
Again, you're changing the terms. We're talking about the world's science community, not "radical environmentalists." These are people chaining themselves to trees or blowing up animal testing laboratories. You can't just lump everything together that way.
ReplyDeleteNolan, when you talk about people tying themselves to trees, you are ignoring some very powerful environmental lobbies who have great clout in Washington. Why else do you think we are not drilling in Alaska?
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to be a radical environmentalist to not want drilling in Alaska. Is it impossible to fathom that millions of centrist, reasonable people don't want to eradicate some of America's final bit of uncorrupted nature in a futile attempt to squeeze the last few drops of oil into a system that even you agree must change?
ReplyDeleteWhatever clout the Sierra Club has because of the donations of average citizens pales in comparison to the oil companies. Your argument conveniently ignores where the money comes from, and who has more of it. Hint: It ain't the hippie/Marxists.
Nolan,
ReplyDeleteI am no apologist for the oil companies, but as things stand now, our cars are running on their product. If we can change that situation, fine and dandy.
My point was that there aren't really such things as "powerful environmental lobbies," at least in comparison to oil companies, and that "being in their pockets" is laughable.
ReplyDeleteYour last statement doesn't refute that in the slightest.
"My point was that there aren't really such things as "powerful environmental lobbies," at least in comparison to oil companies, and that "being in their pockets" is laughable."
ReplyDeleteWOW! Thank God you said "at least in comparison to oil companies.."
If you don't think that the enviro lobby has a strong influence on the Dems than you need to do some catching up.
You might want to ask the farmers of the San Joaquin Valley in Ca whose livlihood is dying because the govt chooses to protect the smelt fish rather than allow the farmers access to sufficient water for their crops.
That's just one of countless examples. Never underestimate the power of the enviro lobby-especially with the Dems.
Speaking of Sean Hannity...
