Good News out of Copenhagen-Deadlocks and Headlocks

(Can't tell if that's inside or outside the convention hall.)

The good news coming out of Copenhagen-so far-is that the delegates are deadlocked. Lots of words, but no action. Apparently, China doesn't want to go along with the program BECAUSE IS ISN'T TRANSPARENT, and the poor countries are demanding more money from the rich countries.

(Hey! Have they forgotten all the foreign aid?)

So the clock is ticking, and the 20,000 delegates are doing what 20,000 delegates could only be expected to do-bicker. Not even the august presence of Al Gore and Prince Charles, the two biggest boobs on the planet, on the same stage can break the logjam.

Speaking of breaking, how about those Danish cops breaking the heads of about 1,000 protesters? Cool!

Hey boys! Don't let those two get away!

And what are the protesters protesting? The slow pace of the delegates inside the hall. Apparently, that cool December air in Denmark is not cool enough for them. I hear there is a follow-up conference next summer in Mexico City. A word of caution to the demonstrators; if you think the Danish cops are rough....

Hopefully, it will all be televised (hee hee).
