Arlen's Darlin's- Spector Stacks His Audience in Kittanning
Senator Arlen Spector has found a way to cut down on all those people yelling at him in his town hall meetings.
Stack the audience with his own supporters.
That's what happened Thursday in Kittanning, Pa when two busloads of ACORN folks came rolling into Kittanning (apparently from Pittsburgh). As they came tumbling off the buses, they immediately began chanting,
"What do we want?"
"Health care!"
"When do we want it?"
"Now!"
They were joined by the Purple People Beaters from the SEIU.
Result? While over 1,000 Kittanning residents showed up to get into the town hall meeting, only about 200 managed to get in.
Nice trick, Arlen.
This raises the issue of the credibility of people like Nancy Pelosi and Harry "Biggie Rat" Reid, who are calling anti-government health care attendees, "astroturf", charging that they are nothing more than professional protesters, who have been organized by the Republican Party and the insurance companies to show up and give the Democrats a hard time at the town hall meetings.
Well, at least the goons from SEIU didn't beat anybody up this time.
