"There is no Room for Hate Speech at UC-Irvine"

UCI Administration: "No hate speech on our campus, right boys?"

News item: Recently, University of California Chancellor Michael Drake assured a meeting of the Jewish organization, Hillel in Washington DC that, "there is no room for hate speech at UCI".

This week, the Muslim Student Union at UCI is hosting a parade of anti-Semitic speakers including Imam Amir Abdel Malik Ali and Imam Mohammed Al-Asi, who will condemn Israel, condemn America and denigrate Jews.

On Monday, Al-Asi made note of the fact that during the Oslo Accords, the chief US diplomat was "of the Jewish faith."

The MSU has erected a mock wall (imitating the Wall erected by Israel). One illustration on that wall is a drawing of Ariel Sharon in the style of Der Stuermer, the notorious Nazi publication, hook nose and all.

No room for hate speech, Mr Drake?

  1. While I don't think that Israel is devoid of any faults, the stuff that you've been posting about lately is rather outrageous. (That it's happening - not that you're writing about it.)

  2. And it's happening all over the country Lance. The public needs to know. That's why I am writing about it.

Tonight, I attended a talk by David Horowitz at UCI. In the question and answer session, I blasted the administration of UCI for allowing this outrage to happen. There were two deans in the audience-two of the worst offenders. (Maybe I won't have a job tomorrow.)

hey, if they can't take a joke, screw 'em as I always say.
