  1. Hey Gary,

Isn't the Ayers connection a bit overblown? I did a little reading on this, and the connection seems to be a bit of a stretch. I mean, "pals"?

I'm not so sure about the Rezko thing either. Seems like a guilt by association thing.

I once lived next door to a guy who had an affair and shot his mistress. I hope nobody finds out about my connections with an adultering murderer!

  2. Au contraire mein Herr,

In 1995, Obama was taken to the home of Ayres and his wife, fellow bomber, Bernadine Dohrn to get his blessing and support for his state senate run. He has also served with Ayres on the board of the far-left Woods Foundation, they participated in seminars together. As recently as 2001, Ayres said he didn't regret his bombings-he wished they had done more. And that photo I used was taken in the past few years.

Same with Rezko. You might want to research the investigation and stories done by the chicago sun times into the financial links between the two including the purchase by Obama of land adjacent to his house from Rezko. If Rezko is convicted, it will be interesting what he has to say to prosecutors about his links to Obama and Gov Blagojevich.

As for that neighbor of yours, don't worry: your secret is safe at fousesquawk.

  3. I'll check into it. I honestly didn't do a very thorough search.

I was actually going to ask you what you thought of McCain accepting endorsements from a couple of religious nutjobs, but it turns out that he's rejected both of them.

  4. Yes, and he was never a member of their churches. Never set foot in their churches as far as I know.
