Blago is a jerk for still appointing someone. I say they ought to hold a special election. Secondly, Burris is an idiot for accepting the post. No matter how much he pleads to be treated fairly, he'll never escape the taint and shadow of Blago. So he'll get what he deserves, which is nothing, hopefully.<BR/><BR/>Playing devil's advocate a bit here, Blago IS still supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around. Although the evidence against him so far is pretty damning.<BR/><BR/>Also, if he wanted to plead insanity you'd think he would have appointed Alan Keyes.
