News item: Greta Thunberg's "flotilla" to Gaza was intercepted by the Israeli navy this week, and Greta has been deported back to Sweden. Tune in next week for another exciting chapter in the life of the world's biggest brat.
You should take Greta less seriously, like I do. And if you have issues with Gazans starving, I suggest you take it up with the people who started this conflict and who have been stealing the food from the aid convoys.
I don't have a strong opinion of her, but I have more respect for someone who's actually doing something real to try and help people than someone who heckles from the safety of his computer.
Strange words from someone who sends out missives ANONYMOUSLY from his/her computer. At least I sign what I write.
And just what do you do to help people and society? What is your job? (I was in law enforcement-not a lot of safety there). You've read this blog for some time now. You've probably seen the videos I have taken on campus of the pro-Palestinian bullies over their objections. I don't just sit behind a computer. I have exposed myself in person to stand up for what I believe.
Very impressive resume. Much less impressive than Greta's, and she's barely in adulthood.
And don't give me that "Being a cop is unsafe" spiel. Law enforcement doesn't even rank in the top ten most dangerous jobs. Loggers, construction workers, cab drivers, and pizza delivery drivers have higher rates of on the job fatalities, and their positive contributions far outweigh the failed "war on drugs".
The hate for Greta is hilarious to me. At her worst, she should be ignored. She sure does trigger you snowflakes.
Somebody tries to get aid to people who are being starved, and that's who you take issue with.
ReplyDeleteI'll take her over Kyle Rittenhouse, who the right champions, any day of the week.
