The Clinton Foundation and FIFA
"In 2014, the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, set up by the Qatar government to ensure a successful FIFA world cup, awarded the Clinton Foundation between $250,000 and $500,000; the State of Qatar donated between $1 million and $5 million.
The money, according to the Clinton Foundation website, is for “research and development for sustainable infrastructure at the 2022 FIFA World Cup to improve food security in Qatar, the Middle East, and other arid and water-stressed regions throughout the world.”
I could care less about soccer, but I know enough about it to note that its governing body, FIFA, is rife with corruption. Even our own corrupt Justice Department has just brought charges against FIFA. And now, sure enough, it is emerging that FIFA has given money to guess who-the Clinton Foundation. It also appears that Qatar, which suspiciously was awarded the World Cup in 2022, has also given money to the money grubbing Clinton Foundation.

FIFA, Qatar's quest for the World Cup in 2022, and money going to the Clinton Foundation-all to help the world's downtrodden, of course.
Exposed.
How about them Cubs?
ReplyDeleteHopefully, the Cubs won't invite Bill to sing "Take me out to the ball game." He would charge them $500,000 just to show up.
ReplyDeleteI believe I just caught a blurb that the last surviving member of the last Cub World Series (1945??) recently passed. That would be 70 years??
ReplyDeleteLennie Merullo played shortstop for the 45 Cubs. He was 98 and a hell of a guy.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they wouldn't pay any of the Clintons to sing, anywhere. I bet Hillary is a White Sox fan. I heard Barack Obama is a Sox fan, but I was reassured when someone told me Michelle is Cubs fan. Lennie Merullo... that's what I keep coming back for, Gary really knows the Cubs.
ReplyDeleteYes, I know the Cubs backwards and forwards. Betcha didn't know that Javier Baez, their top prospect still in the minors, broke his finger yesterday. Out 2-4 weeks. They were probably going to bring him up within a week.
ReplyDeleteThe Goat lives!
