I would like to suggest that cops be required to start carrying an ordinary kitchen timer as part of their equipment/gear, which they would set for the appropriate number of minutes, whatever that would be (10?? 15?? Obviously and certainly less than 28), when they stop someone for a traffic violation.<br /><br />Then, when the thing dings before they are through, they will just have to let the driver go with no ticket, warning or otherwise.
