Tonopah (Cont)

Image result for crescent dunes solar power plant in tonopah

A few days ago, I posted a 2011 article on the Tonopah solar power plant that was built in the Nevada desert. As part of that posting, I re-posted my own article the same year on the plant based on my own personal experience. Construction on the plant was conducted by a Spanish firm.

Well, there is more, and it is recent. It seems the plant is going under. Below are two articles that have recently appeared in two Nevada papers, the Las Vegas Review Journal and the Nevada Independent.

I have sent my original 2011-12 posts to both of the journalists who wrote the above articles.
